Join us in congratulating Vicki Roudybush from Start Smart Learning Center on earning both her Child Development Associate (CDA) and associate degree in Early Childhood Education through EC Alleghenies!
“Working full-time, I’m so proud of my accomplishments and am now a director at our daycare,” Vicki shared. “I couldn’t have done this without the funding and support from everyone in the programs!” Employees of Shared Services members are eligible to earn a CDA, associate, or bachelor degree for free while working in a licensed child care program.

$1,000 Mini-Grants Available
EC Alleghenies is excited to announce a second round of $1,000 mini-grants to support new programs and existing providers looking to expand. Providers in Cambria, Somerset, Bedford, Blair, Fayette, and Westmoreland counties are eligible to apply. Interested providers should click below to complete an application. Once approved, submit receipts for purchases to receive a reimbursement.
