Looking for a rewarding career? You found it! Careers in early childhood are fun, meaningful, and allow you to shape young minds while building a bright future for yourself.

If you are a student enrolled in a high school early childhood education program, you can participate in pre-apprenticeship or co-op to see if this line of work is for you. Co-op students are paid an hourly wage by a child care employer.

After high school, if you continue to work in an early learning program for 25 or more hours per week, you qualify for free tuition for college-level early childhood certificate and degree programs.

It’s a great start for anyone interested in a teaching career!
